It’s the season of cross-sectoral collaborations, or so it seems. Just last week, YOOX announced their collaboration with Milan-born artist Patrick Tuttofuoco for the “Ultragender” collection of a 20-edition wall art piece.
This week, the craft-focused online retailer of fine Italian products, Artemest, announced their partnership with Luisa Beccaria, celebrating their union at Milan’s Lùbar. Her dreamy, pastel-hued world—ordinarily reserved for the mystical closet—makes its way to curated tabletops. “The collection combines the ethereal and fairytale flair of Luisa Beccaria’s creations with the mastery of Italian artisans,” says Ippolita Rostagno, Artemest Co-Founder and Art Director.
Beccaria joins the likes of Bonacina 1889, Manifattura Richard Ginori, and Venini, in a long roster of much-beloved Italian artisans who place craftsmanship above all. The collection was perhaps a long time coming as Beccaria’s aesthetic seems to be a poetic fit for high tea and early morning mimosas. The collection includes two porcelain dining sets (each including a dinner, soup and fruit plate) as well as two glassware sets in Empoli glass.
